Witch Mountain To Return After Three Year Hiatus With Self-Titled Release

It’s been a minute since Witch Mountain have channeled their brand of doom from the Pacific northwest, but thankfully, they are back. After a three-plus-year hiatus, they will release their self-titled release on May 25 via Svart Records.

This marks a new era in the band’s 2o-plus year career in more ways than one. Not only are they back, but they have been rejuvenated by the addition of frontwoman Kayla Dixon and bassist Justin Brown who have joined lifers Rob Wong and Nate Carson.

“We’ve always been a patient band,” said founding member/drummer Carson. “Thanks to all of the touring Rob and I have done with Justin and Kayla over the last three years, we were able to make this album as a full-fledged, road-tested, family unit. Over 20 years, Witch Mountain has never peaked; each record and tour are better than the last. It was a tiny scene when we started, and even though it’s incredibly saturated now, own unique twist on Northwestern doom has continued to set us apart. I can’t wait to share the latest and greatest album with our fans.”
