Supporting underground metal since 2006

When it was announced a few weeks ago that Down was added to select dates(May 2nd – May 23rd) with Black Label Society, I pretty much lost my mind. Two of my favorite groups together in the same night, and the open possibilities of what could happen on any given night makes it a MUST SEE show for any metal fan! The obvious question that is on everyone’s mind is if Zakk Wylde would play a Pantera song with Phil Anselmo on the run, due to the Pantera reunion rumors that I never see happening, but is cool to think about. Well Zakk has finally answered that question….somewhat. In a recent interview with 95X, he answered that question with this, “Me and Phil were speaking on the phone, talking about how excited we are, like a bunch of little schoolgirls. We were both very jovial and excited. But no… me and Phil were just talking and said, yeah, maybe we should throw down on something early and legit and something that has some weight. We discussed that. Me and Phil were laughing our asses off, talking about the comedy of the music business and everything like that, and what’s going on with the bands. Whenever I talk to Phil, we’re always laughing our balls off; it’s always a good time. ‘Cause I’m buddies with all the guys in DOWN — Phil as well. It’s definitely gonna be a good time, man.

So that’s a maybe, but knowing how much these guys respect their fans and want to entertain the crowds, I can definitely see this happening. At least I hope it happens, especially at the New York City show so I can see it with my own eyes. The dates are below!
