VOICES AND VESSELS, “REBUILDER” ALBUM REVIEW!

VOICES AND VESSELS REBUILDERI was blown away after one listen of “Rebuilder!”  Voices And Vessels have a mixture of electronica, hardcore, and clean vocals that I have not heard in this combination before.  It’s very cool.  Like Suicide Silence meets Hatebreed -then they have a bastard child that likes to throw in some samples and clean, melodic vocals.

Hostile Homes” burns it down from the start – a 1 minute song that goes straight for jugular.  “She Devil” is next and it’s my favorite.  The sound is fresh and cool; the production sounds good. Vocalist Nick Della Mea really showcases his talents here.

The album really shifts gears after “She Devil.”  “Submerged” and “Change of Heart” are hard to judge.  They start off with some very radio friendly sounding vocals-but soon change pace and turn into a shred fest like no other.  “The Undertow” is also very diverse and it’s another favorite of mine.  I really like the depth of the vocals here.

This young band is poised for world domination.  I really think the depth and originality they possess will tip the scales in their favor soon.

4/5 stars
