The Band I Don't Speak Of Wins "Best Metal Performance" At The 58th Annual Grammy Awards!

Every year the Grammy Awards come around to highlight how completely awful the music scene has become, yet they still try to stay relevant with us with their “Best Metal Performance” category. Seems like a nice gesture, except that they seem to get it completely wrong 98% of the time. Take last year for example. Anthrax, Mastodon, Slipknot, Tenacious D and Motorhead were up for the award, and who won? Tenacious D for their cover of “The Last In Line” by Ronnie James Dio. That says it all. A cover song by a joke band won. Once again, the Grammy’s failed us.

So did they get it right in 2016? HELL NO. Up for the category this year were August Burns Red for “Identity“, the idiot band that I don’t mention for “Cirice“, Lamb of God for “512“, Slipknot for “Custer“, and Sevendust for “Thank You.”

And the Grammy goes to…
