On this day back in 1989, the legendary Testament unleashed “Practice What You Preach” to the masses! It was the follow up to their instant classic from a year prior, “The New Order,” and ending their thrash reign in the 80’s with a huge statement. With songs like the title track, “Envy Life”, “Sins of Omission” and “Time Is Coming,” this album had it all, and while “The Legacy” and “The New Order” still hold a special place in my heart, this album deserves it’s respect! Once it was released, they brought their now legendary show to cities around the world, with support from legends like Savatage, Annihilator and Nuclear Assault. To celebrate the 25th annivesary of “Practice What You Preach,” I’ve found a full set from that tour in 1989, and you can check it out below, along with a stream of the full record! PREACH!

Set List: “Practice What you Preach”, “Sins of Omission”, “The Haunting”, “The New Order”, “Time is Coming”, “The Preacher”, “Greenhouse Effect”, “Perilous Nation”, “Into the Pit”, “The Ballad”, “A Day of Reckoning”, “Trial by Fire”, “Blessed in Contempt”, “Burnt Offerings”, “Apocalyptic City”, “Do or Die”,”C.O.T.L.O.D.”, “Disciples of the Watch”
