Ukraine’s Jinjer continuing to make waves. I didn’t give these guys a chance for a while and it was my bad. I caught them at Tuska last year and was like, “woah, these guys can actually play and perform.” You can check out my live photos of them here: https://skullsnbones.com/jinjer-live-photos-from-tuska-open-air-metal-festival-2019/ The “Pit Of Consciousness” video was filmed filmed live in
I told ya! I knew it was going to get even better and now look motherfuckers! Tuska 2020 is now officially one of those years the festival outdoes itself. The lineup is now easily one of the best in recent years and I am super excited to see some of these bands bring the fucking house down later this year.
Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2020 is starting to look like one of their better lineups in recent years. They’ve already announced Korn, Children Of Bodom (now cancelled), Insomnium, Vltimas, Jinjer, High On Fire, Perturbator, Midnight, Hacktivist, and Skynd. Now adding to that (mostly) awesome starting lineup, we get Gojira, Deftones, Faith No More, Baroness, Symphony X and Oranssi Pazuzu! Fuck! Of course in
It’s that time of year again. The sky is getting darker, the air is getting colder, and from the chambers of Tuska Open Air Metal Festival headquarters comes the first list of of bands to perform at Tuska 2020! Tuska 2020 will once again take place at Suvilahti park in Helsinki, Finland. The fest will run from June 26th-28th. Headlining Tuska 2020 will be

The female-fronted Jinjer harbor a great deal of fury that they adeptly temper with passionate harmonies. The band just released their new EP, Micro, and it is accompanied by a music video for “Perennial.” The track features raging, brutal verses that are countered by a resilient chorus. Watch the music video for “Perennial” below, buy Micro here, and catch Jinjer
Arguably one of the more well known names in the extreme metal genre, Cradle of Filth just completed a US tour with Jinjer and Uncured. Dani Filth and crew brought their brand of metal to The Forge on Friday the 13th (of April). I was there to cover the event – the photos are below!
Jinjer are a Ukranian metalcore band that have been gaining in popularity since they first hit the scene. Fronted by Tatiana Shmaylyuk, they bring a great mix of melodic and heavy music to your ears. Jinjer just wrapped up a US tour with Cradle of Filth and Uncured. I was able to catch them at their stop at The Forge
Uncured are a progressive death metal quartet from NYC. This was my first time hearing their music and they definitely bring the heavy! Cradle of Filth brought them on tour along with Jinjer. I was able to cover their show on Friday, the 13th (of April) at The Forge in Joliet, IL. Check out the photos below, then go check
