Superjoint & Devildriver Announce US Tour

Superjoint & Devildriver Announce US Tour

Phil Anselmo‘s Superjoint and Devildriver will hit the road with King ParrotCane HillChild Bite for a September-October run from coast-to-coast in the US.  The whole lineup is pretty solid and I think the tour is going to be one of those you won’t want to miss for this fall.

Dez Fafara had this to say about touring with Phil & company again:

“They say lightning doesn’t strike twice?! That’s complete bullshit!” he said. “If you live in the United States of America get fucking ready!

SUPERJOINT was DEVILDRIVER‘s first tour and one of the most memorable tours of my life time and now We are gearing up to do it again on ‘The Broken Bones Tour’!

Philip Anselmo has been a longtime brother and celebrating the fall season with this combination will be a night to remember for sure! This is the show you gotta be at this fall so come join SUPERJOINTDEVILDRIVER and all the bands on this bill for a heavy night out! See you in the pit!”

Phil Anselmo commented about dropping the word ‘Ritual’ from the band’s name:

“because there’s a bloodsucking leech out there who took advantage of a situation. But we’re all at fault as well for signing a document that basically has a zero sunset clause, meaning that this person is privy to a cut of any money a ‘SUPERJOINT RITUAL‘ would make. Hence getting rid of the ‘RITUAL,’ coming back as SUPERJOINT, and cutting out that cancer.”
