We all know that Slipknot will be touring here in the States with Marilyn Manson and Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men this Summer(dates here), and now they’ve announced something special after that run is over. Back in 2014, Slipknot brought “Knotfest” to Japan, and have now confirmed that the festival will return to that audience later this year! As the press release states, Slipknot “will reclaim their back-to-back headlining status on both Nov. 5 and 6 with over 20 bands playing over the course of the weekend.”
Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan had this to say on the news: “I celebrate Knotfest Japan as a high watermark of my legacy. We began plotting our return the moment we got on the plane home. Japan holds a special place in all of our hearts and it’s beating, brutal and beautiful. We can’t wait to get back, because we’ve got some (sic) surprises for you.”
