Music Video: Skinned Deliver “Wings Of Virulence” Against Icelandic Backdrop

Colorado’s Skinned made the most of their trip to Iceland in late May. Not only were they tapped to play Reykjavic Metalfest, but they also chose to spend a little time crafting a music video with the foreign terrain as their backdrop.

The track at hand is “Wings of Virulence”from Skinned‘s fifth studio album, Shadow Syndicate. The track mines the album’s conspiracy theory themes, including chemtrails and their devastating impact on the natural environment. Set against the black lava landscapes of Iceland, the story line is only intensified by the volcanic rock, angry sea, and barren environs.

The music video was filmed by Obscenery Films (Hatebreed, Cattle Decapitation), and it provides epic glimpses of the jagged shoreline and intense vistas. Watch the music video below, buy Shadow Syndicate here, and catch Skinned on tour!
