Yes! Another list to argue about! Rolling Stone recently asked their readers what they thought were “The Greatest Heavy Metal Albums Of All Time” and we now have the results! The list is as follows: #10- Metallica – ‘Ride the Lightning’, #9 Led Zeppelin – ‘Led Zeppelin II’, #8 Metallica – ‘Metallica’ (The Black Album), #7 Guns N’ Roses – ‘Appetite for Destruction’, #6 Slayer – ‘Reign In Blood’, #5 Metallica – ‘. . . And Justice for All’, #4 Iron Maiden – ‘The Number of the Beast’, #3 Black Sabbath – ‘Black Sabbath’, #2 Black Sabbath – ‘Paranoid’ and the best heavy metal album of all time is Metallica – ‘Master of Puppets.’
Now for my top five problems with this list, although I agree with number one:
1- WHY IS JUDAS PRIEST NOWHERE TO BE FOUND?!?
2- WHY IS GUNS N’ ROSES ON A METAL LIST??
3- WHO PUTS THE BLACK ALBUM BEFORE “RIDE THE LIGHTNING?”
4- WHERE IS “RUST IN PEACE”?!?
AND FINALLY
WHERE THE FUCK IS PANTERA?!?
