Another day passes and another update on the Randy Blythe story is here. According to The Gauntlet, Randy posted $200,000 bail this afternoon but will remain in Czech custody for at least the next few days. As we all know and strongly disagree with, he is being accused of causing the death of a fan at their 2010 show in the Czech Republic. Several videos have been posted online of the show and it’s pretty obvious what happened. Security did not do their job that night, and with what happened with Dimebag in 2004, I strongly believe any band member should be able to protect themselves during a live show(especially after the kid rushed the stage three times). Unfortunately, the kid lost his life, but in no way is this Randy’s fault. This is a horrible injustice, and it seems like they are trying to make an example out of the Lamb Of God vocalist to me. Whatever the reason is for him being detained, Randy is not free, but will hopefully be set free soon. Take a look at the video below and tell me what you see. I see a failure in security and a vocalist trying to keep the show going for the audience who paid good money to see the show. We will keep you posted with the latest as it happens!
As I’ve said all week, FREE RANDY BLYTHE!
