A new biannual culture and lifestyle magazine called “Unbuilt” is available now, and you may know the names behind it. Lamb Of God‘s Randy Blythe and Testament‘s Alex Skolnick teamed up with Tom Bejgrowicz for this new magazine, and it looks awesome. The first issue, which is available to order at this location, includes a photographic essay on surfing culture from Blythe along with a short story he wrote. There are also several interviews in the magazine, including ones with activist artist Sue Coe, documentary / video director Tom Berninger, author Kevin Powers and more. Not only that, for each issue sold, the International Committee of the Red Cross and Humane Society International will each receive 50 cents!
The “Unbuilt” launch party was held here in New York City, and our friends at Metal Injection sat down with the three men behind it to discuss the publication, their ties between art and metal, and much more! Enjoy the chat below, and pick up the first issue today!
