Opeth Debuts Three New Songs Live In Europe!

Opeth Debuts Three New Songs Live In Europe!

Earlier this year the great Opeth released “Pale Communion” to the masses via Roadrunner Records, and the fans responded in a big way. The record sold roughly 13,000 copies in its first week of release in the U.S., which was enough to debut at #19 on the Billboard 200 chart! Whether or not your appreciate the new material, as it’s obviously nowhere near as heavy as their past albums, you have to appreciate this band evolving their sound and continuing to release material unlike anyone else in the scene. Personally, I absolutely love this record. It’s a progressive dream come true, and now we know what some of it sounds like live!

Opeth kicked off their European tour this weekend and added three of the new songs to the set list! Check out footage of “Eternal Rains Will Come“, “Cusp of Eternity” and “Elysian Woes” live from London below! AMAZING.
