In just a few short weeks, Livekill will drop their ambitious Turned to Grey EP, and it promises to be a doozy.
Not only is the music intense, but the concept and artwork for Turned to Grey are equally as heavy. The inspiration comes from the lives lost in Hiroshima, particularly that of Shinichi Tetsutani, a three year old boy who died in the atomic bomb strike there. Tetsutani’s father buried him, along with his tricycle, in the backyard in 1945, only to dig them both up 40 years later for a proper burial.
We are proud to premiere a lyric video for Livekill‘s “Demons,” a track that hits closer to home for the band then the concept. According vocalist Carlos Guerreros, “When I wrote the lyrics for ‘Demons’, I wanted to write about the demons I fight within myself. The tragedies I have been through becomes a demon in my mind and when I sing this song, it helps me confront those feelings.”
