Kylesa’s From the Vaults, Vol. 1 is a compilation featuring many alternative tracks and some unreleased ones over 12 tracks and 41 minutes . It’s a little deceiving in that you might think this is a new release, but From the Vaults, Vol. 1 best represents their evolution from the Georgia band’s first album, 2002’s self-titled release, to their latest opus, 2010’s Spiral Shadow.
Kylesa themselves spent a year themselves of going through new and older material, remixing the older ones and even throwing in a few added bonuses. There are many styles running through the album and it makes for a good listen. If you’re not a fan of this band, then I would recommend you to pick this up.
Overall, From the Vaults, Vol. 1 album that highlights a Kylesa‘s career, and I shall look forward to future releases.
From the Vaults, Vol. 1 is out now via Season of Mist.
