FAITHREAT, THRASHING WITH THE STARS ALBUM REVIEW

Faithreat goes straight for the jugular from the opening riff.  This 8 song EP, from the thrash core band, hailing from Greece, clocks in at under 6 minutes-but never shows one precious second of mercy.  The riffs are furious, fast and reminiscent of old Suicidal Tendencies, S.O.D and  D.R.I.  The songs are dedicated to various actors such as Mitch Buchannon (Ballad of Mitch Buchannon), Steven Seagal (Unstoppable Force) and Chuck Norris (Man or God?).  A movie snippet/sample of each actor proudly graces each song.  My favorite song of the EP would be Santa is a Slut-destroying the dreams of all 7 year olds on Christmas morning.

Overall-this EP is cool-I really enjoyed it.  I just wish there was more of it!  The production is awesome too.  I really look forward to a full length release from these dudes in the future.  The EP is free on Bandcamp or the Faithreat Facebook page.
