Enslaved Discuss Recording “E” In New Album Trailer

For those who have been watching and listening, the new album from Enslaved is showing a lot of promise. Entitled E, the fourteenth album from the Norwegians will drop on October 13 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The band has been steadily revealing insights into the album with a series of trailers, including a new, third installment. This clip finds guitarist and songwriter Ivar Bjørnson leading a tour of the recording studio where E was created, while singer and bassist Grutle Kjellson explains the band’s working relationship with co-producer Iver Sandøy.

Grutle comments:

The whole recording process took about three or four weeks. The album is produced like usual by Iver Sandøy, Ivar and myself. The album was mixed by Jens Bogren at the Fascination Street studio in Sweden and this was the 4th time that he did the mix for us and we’re really satisfied about the result – top notch work this time too, buddy!
