Groove metal veterans DevilDriver and Austrian record label Napalm Records have officially joined forces! The band signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm and has tentative plans to release a 2013 album through the label. Frontman Dez Fafara (formerly of the now-defunct Coal Chamber) had this to say about the new deal:

“”I am proud to announce DevilDriver’s new partnership with Napalm Records! They have the passion and the drive we as a band were looking for! I’m looking forward to working together on DevilDriver’s next release! Hail the groove!”

Napalm Records CEO Markus Riedler seemed just as excited as Fafara about the future with DevilDriver in their ranks, referring to them as an “outstanding band…filled with primal energy.”

DevilDriver are currently on the last legs of a European festival tour, here are their remaining tour dates:

6/29/12 – With Full Force XIX – Flugplatz Roitzschjora – Löbnitz, Germany
6/30/12 – Sputnikhalle – Münster, Germany
7/04/12 – Milk – Moscow, Russian Federation
7/05/12 – Roskilde Festival – Roskilde, Denmark
