Mercy Brown‘s “Codependent” flips from driving and hypnotic thrash to dreamy, doomy alt-metal in a creeping nightmarish sort of way.
It’s a fun, nasty little ride when combined with the trippy, murky ’70s-era visuals of the band. The cut-aways to a woman dancing like Stevie Nicks in a dark room recall several horror movies, from Carrie to Paranormal Activity. Try this one out.
