Megadeth will be wrapping up their current U.S. headlining tour this week, and what a run it has been. With Havok, Children Of Bodom and Suicidal Tendencies opening the bill, the stage was set every night for the thrash icons, and they did not disappoint. Not only was it our first time hearing the “Dystopia” material live in person, but it was also our first time to see Chris Adler and Kiko Loureiro with the legends on stage, and they did not miss a note. The chemistry on stage was undeniable, and it made for one of the best concerts of 2016.
I had the honor of sitting down with Chris Adler before their set in New York City, and you can watch the chat right now. We discuss his time so far with Megadeth, the “Dystopia” record, his favorite songs to play live, and his stylistic changes for the band. Plus, we talked about his personal meet and greets for charity, future Lamb Of God plans and much more! Enjoy the interview below, and if you missed Chris on this run, don’t forget that Lamb Of God is heading out with Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity next month! You don’t want to miss out!
