British thrash veterans Onslaught will embark on their very first headlining North American tour in mid-March 2012. The band will be supported by Los Angeles thrashers Evildead on some West Coast dates and ex-Venom supergroup M-pire Of Evil over the whole tour.
Late last night, a car accident claimed the life of David Gold, frontman of Canadian doom metal band Woods Of Ypres. Earache Records, via Facebook and Twitter, was the first to report on the accident, which took place near Barrie, Ontario. A memorial gathering will take place in Gold’s hometown of Sault Sainte Marie, but further details about the arrangement
