ANTHRAX TO RELEASE A COVERS EP IN SEPTEMBER!

The legendary Anthrax has revealed to Loudwire that they will be releasing a EP of covers to celebrate the creative success and critical acclaim Of 2011’s “Worship Music” in September of this year! As of now, the only songs we know of are AC/DC – “T.N.T.”, BOSTON – “Smokin'”, JOURNEY – “Keep On Runnin'” and RUSH – “Anthem” With the band playing “Neon Knights” by BLACK SABBATH at recent shows, you would think that song may appear on the EP as well! One can only hope!

Here’s what Charlie Benante told Loudwire about the upcoming EP: “To commemorate the first year of ‘Worship Music’ being out, we’re putting together a little companion EP with some fun s–t on it. It started out as what I call ‘The ’70s EP.’ It’s made up of some cover songs from our favorite bands — consisting of Rush, Thin Lizzy, Boston, Journey … We’re still working on it now, but I think it’s gonna be really cool.

Here’s the Anthrax guys covering “Neon Knights” by Black Sabbath at this year’s Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards! This one hell of a cover! Hailz!
