Adrenaline Mob recently announced that they would be releasing “Dearly Departed” on February 10th via Century Media. This is their second round of releasing covers to fans, but unlike their previous covers album, this record will also feature a previously unreleased track from the “Men Of Honor” sessions, three acoustic renditions of “Omerta” and “Men Of Honor” tracks, and an edited version of “Dearly Departed.” While that’s cool and all for fans, we really want to hear these covers! On “Dearly Departed” they will be covering classics from Queen, Black Sabbath, Pat Travers and the Charlie Daniels Band! No, that was not a typo. They have covered “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” and thanks to Revolver Magazine, you can stream it below!

Okay, as a proud Southern man, this is a song that needs to stop being covered. The Charlie Daniels Band did it right the first time. Yes, there have been great renditions by Primus, Zac Brown Band, and others, and now Adrenaline Mob has joined that club?! Why the hell not?! Let me know what you think after you hear it below!

Although this isn’t that bad, give me Charlie Daniels Band‘s version forever!
