For those keeping score at home, the silence from the 70,000 Tons of Metal has been deafening, even to these metalhead ears.
November 17 marked the 34th and final announcement before a dry spell that left many wondering if the annual cruise would get to its reported 60 acts. Just in time for Christmas, the wait is over.
The 70,000 Tons of Metal crew began announcing additional acts yesterday, including Edenbridge, Incantation November’s Doom, and Havok.
The cruise is a mere two weeks away, and there are a plenty of more bands to be announced. Who will be next? Who cares. We are going on vacation!

The 2020 installment of 70,000 Tons of Metal will take place January 7-11 on the Independence of the Seas. It will travel to Cozumel, Mexico, and back, and it will feature 60 metal bands playing twice over the course of the trip. For more information, visit www.70000tons.com !
