The tenth anniversary of 70,000 Tons of Metal kicked into high gear on Friday. A day after the announcement of on-sale dates, The Skipper and crew announced the first three acts.
Survivors and newbies alike rejoiced when the first act, the almighty Emperor, made its way to social media pages. Those on the fence for the 2020 cruise quickly changed their tune, and the follow-up announcements of Epica and Haggard are sure to convert even more of those fans who were considering sitting this one out.

The 2020 installment of 70,000 Tons of Metal will take place January 7-11 on the Independence of the Seas. It will travel to Cozumel, Mexico, and back, and it will feature 60 metal bands playing twice over the course of the trip. For more information, visit www.70000tons.com !
